The Buddy Walk / Caminata De Amigos is an annual event held by the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas.
The 24th Annual Buddy Walk was held on October 1st at Reunion Ranch (about 25 miles northwest of Austin).
The Buddy Walk is, in a word, a blast! Lots going on, great weather, a chance to visit, and an opportunity to support a wonderful organization.

We had a chance to meet up with Friends of WLBOTT: Sara, John, and Georgia.
Reunion Ranch
We were so excited this year about the Buddy Walk that we arrived a full 24 hours early!
In my own defense, managing WLBOTT, with its multiple time zones, international date line considerations, borders, local customs, tariffs, duties, currency exchanges, etc., it is not unreasonable that we occasionally make this type of mistake
It was not all bad news. We got GREAT parking!
Plus on our return visit the next day, we had the route burned in our brains.
Way Cool: Travis County Star Flight Joins the Walk
I tried to get John P. to fake a heart attack, so that we could get a ride in the helicopter back to Austin, but he declined (concerns about his deductible).
