By a combination of strong-arming, extorsion, coercion, and bribery, WLBOTT has been designated the Official Corporate Sponsor of the 2024 Solar Eclipse. This designation was awarded to us by the World Eclipse Committee (WEC).
As part of the sponsorship arrangement, the WEC has agreed to have the eclipse pass over the WLBOTT Central Texas headquarters. We paid extra for this.
Pre-Eclipse Preparation
To insure that everything goes according to plan, we held a pre-eclipse event this morning, with UC#4-SU participating in the event.

It is comforting to see that the Eclipse Committee is so well organized. I fully understand why you want to test the eclipse and make sure the cameras are working at various light levels, but why do you have to go the extra expense of mowing the lawn? Surely the longer grass will have only a minimal impact on the trajectory of the sun as it passes over Texas.
Another vital preparation, in my humble opinion, would be to ensure that you are able to document the ghostly appearances on the garden shed that, for reasons yet to be determined, only come out during eclipsi.
