To dispel any rumors that WLBOTT is a cult, I invited our esteemed members to write Praise and Worship limericks to extol my humility.
So the day began as usual. At 4:30am the BLOTTers arose, practiced group yodeling, had a hearty breakfast of kale and coco puffs, a brisk 6 km jog in a foggy mist, and then off to their 12-hour shift at the tuna cannery (their paychecks support our good works).
As the leader, my schedule was slightly different. Due to the exhausting and all-consuming nature of WLBOTT Line Leader, I awoke at 11:30am and had a full English breakfast[1], and then a leisurely drive though the countryside in the Royal Twine Coach.

The WLBOTT cult founder is El Señor Z He is a master of HTML, Java and C He has offered his time toward providing fun And has encouraged the cult to get more done As with all of us, he sometimes has to put down the phone to take a pee

Dear Elders of the Great Ball of Twine, Is it in good taste to whine? It's a deluge, indeed But they're fun to read I'd argue these BLOTTS are benign

A website designer in Austin Posted so many BLOTTs it was exhausting But one could pretend That, if laid end-to-end They would stretch all the way up to Boston
The limericks almost broke the Internet….

Semi-Sequitur: Sofia Shkidchenko
Sofia is a Ukrainian born singer/yodeler. Coincidentally, she shares a birthday with our very own Sally T. Intern – December 27!
Sofia Shkidchenko – Giving Refugee Children a Voice
Sofia Shkidchenko, a 16 year old singer, is Play Action International’s Ambassador and due to her own experience of having to flee her home in Ukraine, is committed to using her voice to raise awareness of refugee children everywhere.
Story
More than half of Ukraine’s children are now displaced from home. According to UNICEF, of the country’s 7.5 million children, 4.5 million Ukrainian children have been forced to leave their homes, friends, families, and lives behind. And this is just the tip of the iceberg… at the end of 2021, it was estimated that 36.5 million children had been displaced as consequence of conflict and violence and all indicators show that this number will continue to rise.
Sofia’s Story
At just 16 years of age, Sofia Shkidchenko has already been mastering her vocal skills for over 10 years as she seeks to become a professional singer. Sofia has participated in countless concerts, festivals and competitions and been in Ukrainian TV shows like Ukraine’s Got Talent, Voice Kids, Little Big Shots and Junior Eurovision. …. Life in Kyiv for Sofia was good – going to school, singing, playing with her dog and friends… But then, on the 24th of February, as Russia invaded, the world of every Ukrainian was flipped upside down. Dreams came crashing down as quickly as the building; families were separated, loved ones lost.
“Like millions of other Ukrainian children, I was forced to flee my home and eventually my country with my mum – separated from our family and friends. From being a teenager with the dream of becoming a singer, I have had to adapt and learn how to live as a refugee. A refugee? I still cant believe this is happening. I should be at home, going to school, playing with my friends and singing.”
Sofia and her mother first fled to Poland and then to Spain where they were warmly welcomed and cared for by a host family. Since then they have traveled to America, where through the support of fans, Sofia was able to participate in two summer scholarships she was awarded at prestigious music colleges. At the end of August, Sofia and her mum will travel back to Spain from where they then hope to return to Ukraine.
According to Famous Birthdays, she it the #5 Capricorn named Sofia. We have no idea what that means.
[1] Semi-Sequitur: The Full English Breakfast
There is no fixed menu or set of ingredients for a full breakfast. A common traditional English breakfast typically includes back bacon or sausages (usually pork), eggs (fried, poached or scrambled), fried or grilled tomatoes, fried mushrooms, bread, both or either fried bread and toast, black pudding, and baked beans. Bubble and squeak is a traditional accompaniment but is now more commonly replaced by hash browns.

Bubble and squeak
Bubble and squeak
Bubble and squeak is a British dish made from cooked potatoes and cabbage, mixed together and fried…. The dish has been known since at least the 18th century, and in its early versions it contained cooked beef; by the mid-20th century the two vegetables had become the principal ingredients.
History
The name of the dish, according to the Oxford English Dictionary (OED), alludes to the sounds made by the ingredients when being fried.
