UC#4: I have been meaning to send you this info, since I am pretty proud of it, and actually forgot to share it when you were asking about what we were growing (?!!) but maybe that will help to give a timeline, since I think the seedling was about 2 wk old at the time.
I have been discovering sprouted apple seeds inside the apples that I eat daily, and decided to plant them. I have planted four now, from various different varieties, and this is the only one that has manifested, and unfortunately, I did not take note of the variety! Anyway, I photographed what the sprouted seed looks like inside the core of the apple, and also what the seedling looks like now. Is it about 6 wk old? Not sure about my long-term plan, since we need board permission to plant trees in our development. I think I’ll just keep it inside. I had an aunt who once grew an orange tree from a seed, and it produced tiny oranges, as a houseplant.

Sadly, UC#4-SU and Sally T. Intern tested positive for Covid on Sunday. UC#4 (bottom test) is hanging tuff.
Recognizing the importance of proper nutrition in the healing process, the ladies are quickly improving.

UC#4 has been dealing with a piece-of-crap LG front-loading washing machine. This expensive POC breaks down about every 6 months, necessitating an expensive repair. It also creates a big mess.

In the WLBOTT corporate mail room, we typically get large sacks of mail from Estonia, but today UC#4 received something special.

UC#3 and SU recently lost power for 5 days due to the hurricane. On the plus side, they received 12″ of rain, which led to a blooming back yard.
