During a one-on-one performance review with UC#2 yesterday, we realized that yesterday’s BLOTT failed to capture the true rock star nature of UC#2’s scholarship.
As you recall, UC#2 is a leading expert in 1st and 2nd century Coptic manuscripts.
We have failed to take into account the added stress, the demands of groupies, the constant and unyielding scrutiny, the lack of privacy, the Paparazzi, the stalkers….
As UC#2 laments, “a Coptic celebrity is a person who is known to everyone at the party, but does not know anyone at the party.”
