UC#3
We finally heard back from UC#3.
He is in a remote enclave just off the Chesapeake Bay, protecting his oyster investments, when the storm arrived.
Unfortunately, UC#3 misunderstood the concepts of oyster farming and oyster beds. This led to a financial downturn.
However, it did free him up to pursue an innovation in snow measurement technology: The Sardine Can Unit of Measurement.
UC#3 also found time to soak his shiitakes and do some cooking.
WLBOTT HQ: Sally the Intern, UC#4, and UC#4-SU
Around WLBOTT HQ, Sally T. Intern worked on the “Peace Thru Twine” puzzle before heading off to work. UC#4-SU is surfing, CenTex style, and I’m folding up my Santa boxers until next year.
My sole responsibilities today are:
- charging the Jackery
- staying out of other people’s hair
- putting away my collection of Santa boxers
Elder KM
We’ve got Elder KM testing the limits of Snow Day Twine Projects:
KM’s family also made a wonderful roast chicken. The secret ingredient? Twine.
Greetings from Maryland – we are on our second snow day and children are going wild. However, child 1 roasted her first chicken and discovered yet another great use for our twine.
Elder KM
From their cookbook Cuisiner avec des matières fibreuses, they selected: Poulet avec de la ficelle.
SU#2
Wishing all the Elders in cold places a warm day. We too have experienced a slight cold front in California, bringing us down 1 degrees from our usual high of 70°F but spirits remain high.
